 Director and Founder Strictly Acquisitions Tony Desai has been helping corporate businesses in Acquisition and Integrations, JV, New Business Development, IT Execution directly improving P&L. In 1985, He started his engineering career in a Manufacturing Technology JV from Germany and Switzerland with advanced industrial products like Plastics Injection Molding and Rubber extruders, Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems of Rexroth manufacturing in India. While he lived in Germany for 6 years he mastered German technology earning Masters degree in Automation and Manufacturing Systems as well. Upon migrating to the USA in 1991, Desai showed early promise in his first large ACQUISITION & INTEGRATION of a German Tooling giant Krupp Widia GmbH. As a part of Cincinnati Milacron's new venture, he developed and executed corporate strategy of organic growth using the new product lines. The Integration involved starting a new US corporation under his leadership, developing a market presence through distribution and a merger with another US subsidiary after 3 years. He has carried out several Due diligence projects and JV as well. Prior to forming “Strictly Acquisitions” in 2008, he worked for GE Aviation for over 7 years, where he solved multiple global INTEGRATION challenges to create financial plus operational transparency and profitability for a $800Million Aviation Services Business. Use of LEAN, Six Sigma, Cost restructuring, Financial Reconcilliations, projects in IT for integration of global MRO shops were some of his key areas. He also integrated the global sales team by operationalizing Siebel System for $2.2 B of active yearly sales pipeline. Post 9/11- disaster for Aviation Industry, he played a pivotal role in creating a turn-a-round of a GE’s Acquisition of $300MM. His attention to the P&L details and Project Execution is remarkable which is the key to every M&A project success.His M&A success comes from his hands-on engagement using IT, Financial skills, Leadership and Business Development acumen. He has earned MBA from Xavier University, Cincinnati and MS in Manufacturing Engineering from Technical University of Berlin, Germany. He speaks German and two other languages of India.
